The Cottage:

Mary & Roman's Cottage is a waterfront property on Maple Lake with a dock, boat mooring and ample parking. Inside, you can enjoy free unlimited WiFi, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, spacious open concept combination dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped, has potable well water (tested annually) and many appliances/conveniences. The large family room has a wood burning stove and 55" Rohu Smart TV with streaming services. Large windows in all rooms fill the cottage with natural light from all directions. The patio door in the living room leads out to a raised deck or go down to a ground level patio for your enjoyment. Once outside you can enjoy a picnic table, firebowl (municipal regulations permitting), lounge chairs, outdoor games and a dock for swimming, fishing and boating.

Location:

We are located on Maple Lake at the top of the Trent-Severn Waterway and one of four UNESCO Biosphere regions in the area.  Situated on seven acres of mostly maple forest in the Township of Seguin, you are 20 kms from the town of Parry Sound.

 

Nearby:

Located near the Seguin recreational trail, perfect for hiking, running, biking, ATV's and winter access for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. A boat launch is available, a 2 minute drive away on Maple Lake itself. There is also a sandy public beach a 5 minute drive away with playground and shallow water for the kids.

 

The nearest local store (less than 3 kms away), The Orrville General Store is also an LCBO outlet. Visit the library & community center, antique store and the Orville Cafe. The area landfill (garbage dump) are within 2 kms further along the 518 Hwy.

A fifteen minute drive to the town of Parry Sound which has many conveniences including Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Rona, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Sobey’s, Trestle Brewery and a great many family businesses.  Parry Sound recreational facilities include great walking/bike paths, a public beach with outdoor table tennis and children’s playground, tennis court, cruises, basketball courts, musical and performing arts.
